All these years later I have only just found this website, but it has been a pleasure to be able to read through other's memories and thoughts of my Uncle, so I thought I would add something of my own. We used to call my Uncle Glujj, a nickname he made for himself. It stood for good looking Uncle JJ, he always did have a good sense of humour. Glujj has always been a hero of mine. It would always be our favourite days when Glujj was back from his adventures and we would get to see him and hear his stories. He was our hero when travelling, working, when he was ill and now after his death he continues to be. My whole life he has continued to be my idol and forever will be. Although I have not followed in his footsteps into farming, I have followed in his love for sport and the outdoors, and most importantly having a laugh. I wish more than anything he could be here to join me on these adventures, but there is never a time I am not thinking of him.
