JJ had this amazing ability to tell stories about his life that were so real, so magical you thought you were there when it happened. He was the kind of bloke that you met once and couldn’t wait till the next time you saw him again. One year I went skiing with him in the American Rockies with his co-worker. We stayed in a small chalet and me and JJ slept in the same room. I thought that nobody could possible snore louder than my brother Michael but thanks to a broken nose and his front teeth that seemed to always get knocked out or broken on each trip JJ was able to beat Michaels snoring record comfortably
